POOR GOSPEL

“… to proclaim good news to the poor.”

I had a dream I stood among men with more gifts than me, watching them perform before the Lord.

I felt rushed—a little too anxious. Compared to them, I was nothing. I said, “I have no talents!”

Suddenly, they all faced me in a pyramid. The pyramidion angel, whose nose about touched mine, looked intensely at me and said, “Write.”

So, that’s what I’m doing—writing.

But about what?

Having talked to Christians about my dreams, I believe Jesus wants the world to know about the poor gospel—or the gospel how he did it: “poor.”

“Poor” is a broad term for vulnerable people.

I preach good news for the poor. My blog isn’t for the rich (but you’re welcome to it). It’s for the poor.
